Happy fall y’all! Who doesn’t love pumpkin spice season? This year I’ve really focused on making my front porch feel warm, inviting, and oh-so cute! It’s the perfect time to get creative with layering textures, playing with colors, and bringing in fall-inspired decor like faux trees, pumpkins, and more. Let’s chat about how I styled my fall front porch and how you can easily do the same!
I’ll also share shopping links for everything at the end, so you can recreate the look yourself. The best part, everything is from Amazon. This makes this porch look incredibly affordable!
Mixing Fall Trees & Greenery
One of the first things I added to my porch this year was a combination of faux fall trees at different heights. I love how they add a ton of dimension and height variation. The color contrast between the maple trees and the white pre-lit trees turned out stunning. Remember to place taller trees on the outside and bushier fall mums close to the inside to frame the entrance!
The lights on the pre-lit trees give such a cozy glow in the evening. I accentuated this a bit by adding similar colored pre-lit leaf stems to go on either side of the walkway—perfect for fall nights!
All The Pumpkins
Pumpkins are a must-have for a fall front porch! I went all out this year and added faux pumpkins in a variety of sizes and textures. The larger pumpkins sit at the base of my trees, anchoring the whole setup, while smaller ones are scattered around for a more organic look. You can stack some of the smaller pumpkins for added height, or nestle them into corners to fill up empty spaces.
Check out how perfect the lit jack-o-lantern is for that day-to-night transition! I also found the cutest small lit pumpkins to place next to the big guy!
Use a Variety of Fall Colors
Next, when I think of fall, I automatically think of deep oranges, burnt reds, and golden yellows. But don’t be afraid to get a little creative! To soften this color combo, I added the white pre-lit trees and white pumpkins. These colors work well together, creating a balanced palette that doesn’t feel too loud but still captures all the cozy fall vibes.
Layer with Rugs and Doormats
Lastly, don’t forget about the base of the porch! I love a good layered look when it comes to rugs and doormats. This year, I opted for a simple, neutral-colored doormat that’s perfect for wiping off muddy fall boots, and paired it with a slightly larger plaid layering rug underneath.
Putting together a fall front porch is all about layering different elements—heights, colors, and textures. By mixing faux trees and pumpkins in varying sizes, playing with a range of fall colors, and layering your doormat with a rug, you can easily create a cozy, inviting space that makes your home feel ready for the season. Don’t forget to add some pre-lit elements for that extra fall glow in the evenings!
